UROP – Undergraduate research opportunities program

UROP connects BU undergraduate students with funded, faculty-mentored research experiences across a wide range of academic disciplines. Any full-time BU undergraduate student, including Questrom students, is eligible to apply for UROP funding. Participating in UROP allows students to gain hands-on research experience, work closely with BU faculty, and build skills and credentials that can strengthen graduate school applications or career prospects in research-oriented fields. Useful for students interested in academic research, exploring a topic in depth beyond the classroom, or looking for a meaningful experiential learning opportunity outside of traditional internships.
