Piano: Hi, everyone. My name is Piano Monarumit. I am a current senior, graduating soon in May, and I'm at the Questrom School of Business Studying, Business Administration, and Real Estate, and I also minor in Computer Science.
Kush: Hi, guys. My name is Kush. I am a senior here at Questrom, concentrating in finance and accounting with a minor in innovation and entrepreneurship, and I am a career skills coach at the wonderful Feld,
Piano: I think that my best advice is the fact that I waited too long to look for resources. I was scared of being embarrassed because I was uninformed, or I knew less than my peers. But now, as a senior looking back, everyone else was in the same boat as me. I didn't go out of my way to look for resources, and I didn't find out about the field or the UDC until much later. Working as a CSE now, I realize how many people come in panicked at the last second. I see a lot of juniors and seniors worried about not being able to find jobs after grad or internships for the summer. It would be so much better if you guys just came in earlier, and we can help coach you from the very beginning of your college career. We have six CSEs currently working at the Feld, and we're all undergrad students, from juniors to seniors. We offer so many services, and we're so happy to help at any time of the day.
Kush: The advice I give, sort of underclassmen and people coming into BU, and Questrom specifically, is use a Feld Center, especially as you kind of navigate your first few years at Questrom. A lot of it's going to be based off recruiting jobs, kind of finding your interests within whatever career you want to go into. We have great resources, not just the wonderful advisors that we have, your extensive industry knowledge, but also us, the career skills coach that can help you with your resume, your cover letter, giving good advice on your interviews, any calls that you have. We're here to help you guys.
