Come on in. How's it going? I'm Mark. Welcome to the Feld Center. Come have a seat. So we have a super exciting event coming up with Shark Ninja. You will have an opportunity to meet with the CEO, and I have three helpful tips for you to make the most of the event. Tip number one is to go in with one goal, don't just show up, go in with an intention, and ask yourself, what is it that I want to learn from this CEO? Maybe it's something about career exploration, or career trajectory, leadership, product strategy, or perhaps this is going to be a springboard to start your networking efforts with the company, so going in with an intention will make the event much more memorable and valuable. Tip number two: capture one takeaway that you can use. You don't have to remember everything, but just grab on to one learning or one key insight, because that's what you'll use for content to package and promote as a LinkedIn post, something you can reference in a networking conversation or in an interview. Tip number three: treat it as a networking event, so you don't have to actually meet the CEO to gain access to the company. Follow up with students who attended the event, research BU alumni at Shark Ninja, and it's a way that you can leverage the event to harvest multiple relationships moving forward, and as you know, so Shark Ninja is an incredibly innovative CPG brand, they've been disrupting in the household appliance category for a while now, I have a sweet spot for the CPG industry. I spent 20 years in the sportswear space working on performance footwear and apparel. It's a super innovative, creative, and really fun industry and sector to check out. So, if you're asking what's in it for me, this is way more about blenders, it's about building perspective, presence, and networking all within one event.
