Manager of Marketing, Operations, and External Relations
Patti joined the Questrom Feld Center in June 2015 as the Manager of Marketing, Operations and External Relations. Patti is responsible for the Feld center’s brand: developing, implementing and executing the long-term strategic marketing plan and day-to-day marketing efforts of the department. Including branding employers, promoting employer events and job opportunities through various marketing campaigns – newsletters and targeted emails; managing social media; overseeing and populating content/resources for FeldAdvantage and Questrom websites to increase student and employer engagement and experience.
Supervises the work of the Marketing/Operations team’s data administrator who manages reporting, placement and systems management and senior program coordinator who oversees department finances, office management, student employees and daily operations of the career center.
Lead for external relations with alumni engagement efforts through QuestromConnect (mentoring platform) and external organizations that provide domestic and international student resources for career support and development.
Outside of work, Patti enjoys spending time with family/friends, participating in outdoor/indoor activities including walking, hiking, yoga and spinning, and volunteering at local organizations.
Ken Sun joined the Feld Center for Industry Alliances in Summer 2016 as Data Administrator. Since then, the role has grown into Senior Data Analyst as Ken has learned to work with multiple offices in Questrom as well as across BU. Ken manages all the employment data for the graduate and undergraduate programs at Questrom. He is also a member of the Handshake Governance Committee and primary MBA Focus contact for Questrom, the main career services platforms. Ken is also a Questrom 2012 Alum and current PEMBA concentrating in Strategy and Innovation and Operations and Technology Management. In his spare time, Ken likes to play video games, watch/play sports, and learn about new technology.
Senior Program Coordinator
Lianne joined the Feld Center as a Senior Program Coordinator in May 2018, after earning her BA in Political Science with a minor in Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies from BU. Lianne is responsible for greeting and engaging with students, employers, alumni, and internal partners who visit the office. She manages the office administration, oversees the financials, supports marketing and communication efforts and supervises student employees. As an undergrad, Lianne held multiple research and professional positions, including interning for the ACLU. Lianne is on her way to becoming a triple terrier, as she is pursing a Masters of Social Work and Masters of Public Health at BU. Outside of work, Lianne enjoys finding the best coffee shops in Boston, reading, and visiting her cat, Hermione, in New York.
Assistant Director, Employer Engagement
Jessica Orthman joined the Feld Center in August 2020 as Assistant Director, Employer Engagement. She is an executive and higher education professional with over 15 years of experience. In her current role, she is responsible for employer experience and the planning and delivery of high-quality employer events. Prior to her role in the Feld Center, Jess was Associate Director, Operations in the Executive Leadership Center at Questrom. In that role, she directed the program management team and oversaw the planning and delivery of over 35 programs each year. She holds an Ed.M. from Boston University and a B.A. from Harvard University. Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and losing in basketball to her six-year-old son, Jack.
