Levi’s is the latest clothing company to jump on the recycled goods train, urging customers to buy less and re-use or repair worn-out clothing. The company’s new ad follows Patagonia, tentree, and Pact, among others, in spotlighting the massive environmental impact the business has while touting their green credentials in a bid to woo increasingly socially conscious customers. However, questions remain on how these companies remain profitable while telling consumers to buy less and re-use more.
