Feeling nostalgic? BlackBerry and Austin-based startup OnwardMobility are planning to release a new 5G-enabled version of the famous smartphone in the first half of next year. The Canadian smartphone pioneer no longer makes hardware but licensed the BlackBerry name — known for physical keyboards and enhanced security features — to other partners. OnwardMobility CEO Peter Franklin said he sees demand for heightened cybersecurity from governments, businesses and consumers.
