Levi’s announces paid family leave – LinkedIn

Levi Strauss & Co.’s CEO Chip Bergh announced on LinkedIn his company will be offering paid family leave — or eight weeks to care for a family member — to its corporate employees and retail staff who work at least 30 hours a week. The benefit is “industry-leading for retail,” reports Fortune. Workers in the retail industry often go without “basic benefits,” says the National Partnership for Women and Families, adding that retail benefits often lag behind other industries.
