As Deloitte completes its 2019 summer internship rotations, I am filled with optimism and excitement for the future of work. The trends that we are seeing in today’s workplace demonstrate the progress we are making. As technology advances and individual needs and expectations continue to evolve, so does our approach to adjusting elements of our culture and communications to foster an environment where everyone can thrive.
We see these changes permeating how we work through the use of sabbaticals, family leave options, and in remote workforces and flexible schedules. I have great enthusiasm for the shifts that I see in the market and workplace that are enabled by the fourth industrial revolution and the talent who is powering it.
